Our story

Nick here! Me and Matteo (Teo) met at The White Rabbit Pub in Oxford. I was working behind the bar, whilst Teo was hard at work in the kitchen. He had worked in his families pizzerias back in Italy all of his life and was now working his magic in the kitchens in Oxford. He helped elevate the pubs pizza menu, helping it to gain a reputation for delicious, authentic pizza, helping the pub to be voted the best pizza restaurants in Oxfordshire.

We noticed that the pub was being inundated with requests for free-from and vegan versions of Teo’s existing pizzas. The idea for the White Rabbit Pizza Co was born...

We realised so many people were looking for a different kind of pizza and didn’t want to feel excluded – they wanted delicious pizza! After a year of painstaking development sourcing the finest ingredients and the perfect recipe (and lots of customer taste testing via the busy pub!), we launched the most delicious alternative pizzas out there. We were the first chilled vegan pizza to hit supermarket shelves back in 2017 and have continued to grow rapidly ever since!

Today, our mission remains the same. We believe pizza has the power to bring people together and that’s exactly what we’re all about. We’ve crafted a range of gluten free, vegetarian and vegan pizzas that are outrageously tasty in their own right.
